Overview
Working in multidisciplinary teams, students will apply the innovation process, knowledge and skills that they have learned to identify and assess cybersecurity problems by immersing themselves in a number of real world environments which have been developed with industry partners.
They will then design numerous potential solutions for this problem, rank the solutions, prototype and test them and then select the solution they wish to pursue.
Finally, they will validate the commercial opportunity for the potential products and services that they have designed, develop an appropriate business model, plan for a start-up company and initiate the fund raising process. The long term objective of the programme is to produce cybersecurity innovators and leaders who will found and lead high-potential start-ups and SMEs.
